You've heard "location, location, location" all your life. A new business, especially in retail, may live and die by its location. Before settling in on one "perfect" location, spend a few minutes online to compare some different options. www.planabiz.org was developed by the Appalachian Council of Governments to provide self-service tools for those considering a new business, or a new business location.
SBDC consultants will walk through the process, or help you analyze results.
